Lifeway Lowfat Kefir Review

  Lifeway Kefir Low Fat Cultured Milk Smoothie (32 oz for around $4.00) is a probiotic cultured milk smoothie that contains calcium and protein and is 99% lactose-free. This product is available in two sizes - 32 oz. and 8 oz. - and comes in 13 different flavors including Plain, Strawberry, Pomegranate, Raspberry, Peach, Strawberry Banana, Blueberry, Cherry, Madagascar Vanilla, Mango, Cappuccino, Chocolate Truffle, and Coconut Chia. A serving of this has 140 calories and 20 calories from fat, and each bottle contains four servings.

  The flavor I chose to try out was Strawberry. It has a thicker, yet extremely creamy, texture. I prefer thicker smoothie products, as they last longer and actually fill you up; thinner ones can be finished in a couple of gulps and leave me still feeling hungry. Despite being thicker, it surprisingly didn't feel "heavy". It's also very refreshing (perfect for a hot day!), and the strawberry flavor is subtle, sweet, and slightly tart. So far I have tried this on its own and mixed with granola. Both make great snacks that not only taste super delicious, but are healthy for you. From now on this is going to be a staple in my kitchen!

Palmolive® soft touch™ Dish Liquid Review

Palmolive - Tough on Grease, Soft on Hands

  Palmolive® soft touch™ Dish Liquid ($2.99 for 25 fl oz.) comes in three formulas: Coconut Butter, Vitamin E, and Aloe. You can find this product are your local Target or Walmart. I was lucky enough to receive two Palmolive Soft Touch Dish Liquids - Aloe, and Vitamin E - from Influenster to test out and review. I kept the Vitamin E, as I'm not too fond of Aloe, and gave the Aloe to my daughter.

 This product has a fruity/floral scent - to me, it smells like sweet grapefruit and roses. The scent is very noticeable in the bottle and when using, but does not stay on your skin. The consistency is more watery than other dish liquids I've tried, but doesn't seem watered down at all - in fact, it's extremely concentrated. A little goes a long way! (Be careful not too use too much, as this will make it difficult to rinse off dishes, and will make the dishes quite slippery when washing them.) It works wonderfully on greasy pans and leaves glassware squeaky clean. Palmolive soft touch leaves my hands feelings so incredibly soft that sometimes I even use it as hand wash! I also find that I don't need any hand lotion after washing the dishes. 

  Ever since my daughter gave me a bottle of Palmolive dish liquid to try about 4 months ago, I've been sticking to the brand. This product has definitely increased my love for this brand, and I will definitely be repurchasing this.

  Milani Lip Flash Shimmer Gloss Pencils are available in several shades for $6.49 at Drugstore.com. All swatches are done without a lip liner/lip primer (to show you the true color payoff) and are modeled on my daughter Chassy.

Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio Swatches

Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trios each include three complimenting eyeshadow colors and have a total of 0.12 oz of product. These are available in 12 different color sets for $2.99 at Drugstore.com. The eyeshadow trios I have are Cool As A Cucumber, I Got Good Jeans, I'm Getting Sunburned, Knock On Wood, and On Cloud Nine. Every single color in the trios I have are extremely soft, apply smoothly to the skin, and have excellent color payoff. The quality of these eyeshadows are on par with Stila Eyeshadows, which retail for $18 at Sephora.

NYX Eyeshadow Trios Swatches

NYX Eyeshadow Trios contain three eyeshadows in complimenting colors and have a total of .162 oz of product. They are available at in 45 different trio sets at Cherry Culture and retail for $6.00. The trio sets I have are Copper/Rust/Bronze, Opal/Platinum Silver/Luster, Perpetual, Purple/Deep Purple/Prune, and Team Spirit. The majority of the colors in the trios I have are buttery in texture and apply smoothly onto the skin, even without an eyeshadow primer. The only real problem color was the bright lime green in Perpetual. This color was extremely hard, and I had to scrape the product to get a decent amount of pigmentation.
